Blüthner Style Model V Grand Piano – 1914
This elegant Blüthner-style Model V grand piano offers a beautiful balance of compact proportions and full, expressive tone—ideal for both home settings and serious pianists.
At approximately 5'8" in length, this piano delivers far more depth and richness than a baby grand, while still fitting comfortably into most living spaces. Inspired by the renowned craftsmanship of Blüthner, it produces a warm, lyrical European tone, with a clear singing treble, smooth midrange, and a surprisingly resonant bass for its size.
The piano does have ivory keys which have been registered with reference number: 96F3NVTH to comply with the Ivory Act. The piano also has the Blüthner patent action instead of a roller action like most grand pianos which can feel lighter and smoother to play.
The casework shows signs of wear and tear but overall nothing to detract too much from the overall appearance. It shows signs of having extensive refurbishments in the past including frame re-spray, soundboard shimming and refinishing, casework polishing. We have cleaned out the entire piano, action, and polished the ivories and sides of the keys to give them a refreshed new look. The bass has also undergone polishing and the casework tidied to improve the overall look. The piano has also been tuned and regulated ready to be enjoyed for the next owner.
